Been thinking about penalties against those that commit serious crimes like rape, child molestation, murder. Life imprisonment is mercy. Death penalty is the deterrence. Nothing more, nothing less.

Anyone have that problem when they listen to audiobooks and the narrator says a word that makes you go into a whole thought process and then realize you haven't been listening for 3 minutes and have to rewind?
