@IamSuperMassive Projects have been using SBTs for years already; we just didn't call them that. As web3 matures, the use-cases for tracking the reputation of addresses will increase, as they should. This doesn't mean that every protocol will use SBTs; as I said, it's just a tool.

@IamSuperMassive Crypto is mapping real-world things into digital form since its inception: fungible tokens (money, stocks, credits), non-fungible tokens (art, land, objects) and now soulbound tokens (university degrees, birth certificates, death certificates... basically reputation and state)

Non-transferable NFTs are a pretty fast-growing concept, eh? Career-pegged NFTs with properties that grant access to financial services, reputational perks, it's gamer grinding but for everything.
Not entirely sure how I feel about it all. What do you think?
