Last Friday we opened our lab to the MSc in Biofabrication students 🧪 A hands-on session focused on advanced biomaterials processing technologies.

🏆 La semana pasada recibimos el Premio “Francisco Guitián Ojea” de la @RAGC_gal por nuestro trabajo en aerogeles biomédicos estériles, desarrollado en colaboración entre I+DFarma y los centros iARCUS y CiMUS. Esta tecnología destaca por su sostenibilidad y viabilidad industrial.

Clara also had the opportunity to present our technology transfer project on scCO₂ sterilization, a green alternative to conventional methods that also enables the use of aerogels and other high-value materials in applications requiring disinfection or sterility.

We are excited to reconnect with the aerogel community at the Aerogel Industry-Academia Forum at Empa (Dübendorf) 😃! Today Ana kicked off our group's presentations with her research work on 3D-printed aerogel scaffolds with UCNPs for in vivo monitoring 👏
