War. Too many now are so used to seeing War on the news that there is a desensitization to it,, and along with that, people seem to forget the innocent lives that are being stripped off of this earth. It is deeply unsettling the level it has reached that people tend to forget who's blood, other than soldiers is getting spilled. Civilians are being killed, raped, tortured and having money, homes and loved ones stolen from them. Children witness their parents and families blood get spilt, watching people flee whilst not understanding what is truly going on around them. Elderly and disabled get abandoned in these times, often with the struggle of moving them quickly, medications and more, leaving many left behind to be killed or die. Are you desensitised to war? Can you see the faces on social media of people, civilians who had died and spilled blood for a war they did not ask for? Can you see the faces of children, tears pouring down their faces, screaming and crying for parents they may never see again? War is nothing but straight destruction and in the modern day and age we should be beyond slaughtering innocent lives. We should stand straight and be against what is happening, whether our own country or not. These are innocent people losing their lives. Losing their loved ones.
