@squirrelcrypto Crypto liquidity is pretty bad… unless you’re saying that the ability to create liquidity with crypto is the value? In which case… RWA are perfect for crypto because it can bring liquidity to generally illiquid assets.

Unpopular Opinion: The hype around RWAs in the near future is NOT going to be real. The power of crypto is liquidity, RWAs are not going to be liquid any time soon due to various reasons. This narrative will die out as soon as crypto becomes active again.

@simon_warta You will need to handle 18 decimal precision anyway, so there’s no problem. Otherwise you won’t be composable with the ETH world.

I wonder about the motivation for that. Do you enjoy counting decimal places? Do we now all follow Ethereum's bad design decision? Am I missing something?

TIL: Archway is using 18 fractional digits instead of 6. Their base denom is aarch (for "atto ARCH" I guess). This makes it impossible to store an amount as uint64.
