Sometimes things just don't work out. It can be sad, and it can be heartbreaking. It's easy to think "What if?". What if I had made different choices? What if I had tried harder? What if I had been better? But please don't torture yourself by going down that line of thinking. Even if you do everything right, and try your very hardest, the path that life has put you on will take you through countless defeats regardless. And eventually one day, all of those defeats will be what grants you your victory. It may take a long time. It may take what feels like an eternity. But as long as you hold on to hope, and you continue to try your hardest, and remember to be kind to those you hold dear, then there will always be light at the end of your path, so long as you choose to reach for it.
