A lot of hard work ahead.
No game for us tomorrow but next Wednesday sees us travel to an inform Easington Lane for our last game of the season.
Support for us over the last few games has been fantastic, and means a lot, hopefully will have our diehards there supporting the lads.
DERBY DAY IS HERE..
Tonight we take on our close neighbours, Southmoor, looking to avenge our 4-2 defeat at their place. We come off 2 good results but know without doubt this will be the hardest game of the season.
Will be great to have YOUR support. 👊
MATCHDAY...
Today we face a very good Silksworth side, on their day one of the best attacking sides in the league so this is sure to be fast and furious.
YOUR SUPPORT GIVES THE LADS SUCH A LIFT.
Join us in our fight to stay in this league..
We have a home game this Saturday (Friendly) against Seaton Carew seniors reserves. 21st Feb
Derwent Park DH98TY 2pm KO £2 entry with a ticket to win a bottle of whisky.
We also have our Race Night at Annfield Plain Cricket Club. Starting at 5 till 8 with both teams all welcome.
A big well done to our young player Reuben Scotter who was awarded man of the match on Saturday against a side two divisions above us, Northern League Division One side Northallerton Town.
We stayed in the game for 70 minutes at 2-2 but a rake of subs from Northallerton in the last 20 saw their fitness and experience win the game 5-2.
A great run out for our young lads who will now be pushing for a place in our next game squad/eleven.
Thank you to Northallerton
We dont have a game on Saturday, again, so are looking for a friendly home (depending on our pitch, or away.
PLEASE SHARE and spread the word..
Thanks.
The game ended 6-0 with us in the game until late and missing more chances, conceding three in the last 5 minutes as we tired with the 10 men. Willington were clinical and something we need to mimic if we are to beat the drop.
Last Saturday, we faced a very good, strong Willington side. We probably shaded the 1st half but missed big chances, half-time we go in level 0-0
The second half was a disaster for us, 4 injuries, poor decisions from the man in the middle and a red card.
In other news we are overjoyed that two of our regular starters have decided to stay with us despite interest from higher step teams.
It shows how we are progressing and these three will be invaluable in our fight to beat the drop.
UP THE PLAIN...

Nats is a very quick, tricky forward with great technique and will add something different to our attacking options.

We go into the game against a very good high flying Willo still with a few 1st teamers missing, digging deep into the squad, similar to last week new players will be given a chance to prove themselves and grab a regular shirt.

WELCOME TO THE PLAIN LADS..
TWO NEW SIGNINGS..
As well as trying to bring in established players to help our fight against relegation, we are striving long term, to sustain a good playing level in the future, so young hungry players willing to learn are essential and these two are just that.
