The old narrative that Kashmir will inevitably join Pakistan now lies buried, challenged by the realities on the ground.

Dialogue is the best way. No more war is needed on Afghan soil. As an ANDSF member, I will defend Afghanistan, but I will not fight against my Afghan brothers who were raised as extremists through the consequences of U.S. policies. They are Afghans, and no Afghan should fight another Afghan anymore. It is time for peace, unity, and dialogue.

These are the faces of former Afghan National Defense and Security Forces personnel who were killed after the Taliban seized control of Afghanistan. In the past three months alone, we have documented more than 184 former soldiers killed, many subjected to horrific torture. The danger has only grown as former soldiers are deported back to Afghanistan, particularly from Iran and Türkiye. We refuse to forget them. We will continue to document every crime, preserve every name, and pursue justice for every victim. Those responsible for murder, torture, and other abuses must be held accountable under the law. No regime can secure its future through fear and brutality. To those who still sympathize with the Taliban, look at these faces and ask yourself: what if this were your father, your mother, your brother, your sister, your son, or your daughter? These are not statistics. They were Afghans. They were our soldiers. They are our brothers and sisters. We will remember them, we will honor them, and we will never stop pursuing justice.

Burkina Faso President, Ibrahim Traoré is making waves on social media following an impactful speech he delivered on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Traore who was addressing representatives from the Yagha region in Ouagadougou focused on two important areas: religion and education. He stated that, his administration is committed to religious diversity and will not enforce any particular faith or belief system on the citizens. “I am a Muslim, but everyone in Burkina Faso has the right to practice their own religion. There will never be Sharia law here,” he said. Traoré further highlighted a severe mismatch between the country's current educational outputs and its critical societal needs. According to him, many young Burkinabes are focusing on studying abstract theories, particularly religious scholarship. He added further that, the focus of the country’s educational system will shift entirely towards STEM to meet the demands of modern development. “We need people with technological skills to build our nation, not Sharia scholars,” Traore said. Afghanistan's trade lifeline is shrinking. Transit trade through Pakistan has reportedly collapsed by 93%, from 89,000 containers worth $5 billion to just 11,592 containers valued at $367 million. At the same time, the region is grappling with rising fuel prices, persistent power shortages, stranded cargo, and worsening water scarcity. Together, these pressures are deepening economic instability, disrupting supply chains, and increasing the cost of living for millions. At Least Seven Afghan Migrants Die of Thirst in Nimroz Desert While Attempting to Reach Iran At least seven Afghan migrants have reportedly died of thirst after becoming stranded in the remote Nimroz desert while attempting to cross into Iran. The group, believed to consist of 14 people, reportedly began the journey five days earlier. Their vehicle is said to have broken down in the middle of the desert, leaving them without water or any means of survival. Seven bodies have so far been recovered, while search operations continue for the remaining missing individuals. Among the victims are seven residents of Mir Qasim Jan village in Chamtal district of Balkh province, including two brothers and their cousin from the same family.

نوح هراری می ګوید دشمنی زمانی رخ می دهد که ما وجود و واقعیت طرف مقابل را نپذیریم، مثلا نپذیرفتن واقعیت وجود فلسطینیان توسط اسرائیل، یا جنګی را که در اکراین شاهد هستیم، یا حملات امریکا بر ایران، حتی حملات ایران بر کشورهای خلیج، و حتی زمانی که طالبان تمام شخصیت ها، سیاسیون ، رهبران و احزابی که با رویکرد طالب مخالف اند را نمی پذیرد. همه اینها در واقع نپذیرفتن واقعیت وجود طرف مقابل است. حتی جنګ طالب با زن و مکتب نیز می تواند شامل ان شود حالا اګر شما زورتان زیاد باشد، به جای پذیرفتن واقعیت و ایجاد صلح، می توانید به جنګ با واقعیت بروید و آنرا از بین ببرید ، مثلا جنګ اسرائیل علیه فسلطینی ها یا جنګ طالب علیه مکتب،زن، تکنولوژی، و تمام شخصیت های که با رویکرد انان مخالف هستند. کاش به جای جنګ ،واقعیت وجود همه را می پذیرفتند. در آن صورت شاهد صلح و آرامش می بودیم. کسی مجبور به ترک وطن خود نمی شد .
