@IvanTheTurrible No, he's going to be Otto and X's backup at SS and 2B. Glove-first guy. He's just learning third base to give the club yet another option there as well.

The Panthers season basically ended on March 1st when Anders Lee scored a late goal to beat them in regulation. They are 5-9 since then and now sit 5th worst in the NHL by points % (.500). Wouldn't shock me if CGY passed them too. This franchise is even elite at tanking too.

The panthers might actually pull it off and get a franchise level talent to add to a healthy Stanley cup core next season. Adding any of stenberg, McKenna, verhoeff, Smits, Reid, or Malholtra to this core would be insane They have perfected the art of the unethical tank😭

@LuadyCats I think Smits may be. A few of them may need a year. I think it’s likely a situation where we sign them next March for a playoff run. Unless it’s stenberg or McKenna, who will play right away
