Very long think pieces as.soon Kangata announceed that he's quitting UDA
Sam Terriz@Terriz_Sam

Governor @HonKangata used county resources to try and “woo” Members of Parliament, then turned around and started pressing the President for the Deputy President seat. The President, however, didn’t budge an inch. Without shame, Irungu Kang'ata used county bursary funds to bribe people to propose his name as DP, money meant for bursaries for needy children within the county of Murang’a. With that same energy, he should go to the media and tell the people of Murang’a County exactly what he did with the bursary money, and also explain the millions paid for PR and media campaigns to position himself as Deputy President. Instead of all that political ambition and headline chasing, he could have simply focused on building a better family home. Because at the end of the day, it is quite something when someone is trying to climb to the nation’s top political office, yet the condition of his own family home still becomes the quiet political statement no press briefing can spin.

🚨 BREAKING POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS Reports circulating in political circles indicate that Amina Mnyazi is poised to align with the Linda Mwananchi faction — a move that, if confirmed, would mark a significant setback for the rival Linda Ground bloc, allegedly linked to William Ruto’s broader support network. Neither side has officially confirmed the shift, but insiders suggest quiet realignments are underway as factional tensions deepen ahead of the next political cycle. Developing story…

Guys nobody should lie to you that Linda Mwananchi wave is a passing online cloud. This is somewhere in Mumias west, deep in the village. These are not Gen Zs but our mothers who for a long tim, have always been used as voting tools by octatarian politicians. However, Sifuna and the team we are changing this old age narrative. Tuzidi kusonga mbele juu mahali tumeangalia kama wewe sio Sifuna hutakubaliwa kuomba kura sehemu zote Kenya hii.

“Fight for numbers” makes for a good headline. But it also exposes a deeper disconnect in Kenya’s politics. While the focus shifts to voter registration, blocs, and 2027 arithmetic, the lived reality for many Kenyans hasn’t changed: high food prices, expensive fuel, strained incomes, and shrinking room to breathe. You can mobilise numbers all you want— but numbers don’t vote in a vacuum. They vote based on whether daily life is improving or not. As William Ruto’s political machinery sharpens its strategy, the more urgent task is far less complex: restore confidence at the household level. Because if the basics remain unresolved, no amount of electoral maths will hold.

As I contested against Tom Ojienda at the JSC election and defeated him in 2019 I never acknowledged him as a ‘ Professor’ for I understood his character. Same way I don’t acknowledge Ruto’s ‘PHD’.

The Blood Pressure Champion 🇺🇸🇰🇪
Driving the Nairobi–Eldoret Highway yesterday felt like watching a trailer, not the movie. Every few kilometers: a fresh excavation. Then a stretch where grass has already grown over “ongoing works.” We’re not building roads anymore, we are staging activity. Because real progress is boring: finish one section, open it, move on. But optics? Scatter works everywhere so it looks like something big is happening. Kenyans don’t need PR patches. We need complete, usable roads.

Embarrassed that @KalashaKenya has decided the president, who has proved he hates artists, should be present at the awards ceremony. Embarrassing. Even the films you're showing are against him. Including but not limited to BLOOD PARLIAMENT. EMBARRASSING.
