Bingo. So let’s falsely blame Ukraine, Victoria Nuland, the “deep state,” or some globalist conspiracy. Let’s blame everyone and everything except the one who actually fired a missile at a civilian airplane. Speculation about motives, logic, or the lack thereof does not change the basic fact of who is ultimately legally responsible under international law: the Russian Federation.

Unfortunately, many ignore that #MH17 was shot down not by separatist irregulars, but by a regular unit of the Russian armed forces that had intruded Ukrainian territory (and left again hastily after the mass murder). Their supreme commander was and is Vladimir Putin. @JITMH17

12 years ago today, flight #MH17 was shot down over Eastern Ukraine. Everybody on board, including 196 🇳🇱 nationals, died. Russia’s responsibility is beyond dispute, as established by @CourtMH17, @ECHR_CEDH and @icao. Our thoughts are with the 298 victims and their loved ones.

@bobdabolino There is overwhelming evidence of what brought down MH17 and who fired the Buk missile. Without Putin’s war of aggression, those people would still be alive. If the West is to blame for anything in Ukraine, it is years of weak, failed appeasement of russia.
