@TheStingisBack Battle Beyond the Stars is so unfathomably corny but so brilliant. To my mind, George Peppard played the quintessential world-weary Space Trucker. Flying around the galaxy in his battered, half-functioning, jury-rigged ship.

My inner 9‑year‑old will never forget seeing Sybil Danning (78 today) in Battle Beyond the Stars (1980). “The Queen of the B Movies” as a fierce, sexy warrior—built for battle, dripping in PVC, and delivering dialogue definitely not aimed at kids. Dads ate well in the 80s.

@RetroMoviesDB As a stupid kid I though the blueprints they flashed on screen were real. So I spent hours copying them from paused VHS frames believing I could build my own Airwolf. They were probably just specs for an AirCon unit.

If there's #Pragmata DLC it should be two things: 1) Free 2) A pack with some new cosmetics and a few extra dances and conversations for Diana and Hugh in the Shelter. That's all, nothing else needs to be changed.

@80s_Kidz Jamie and the Magic Torch was one of my absolute favorite kids shows (along with Chorlton and the Wheelies). Great surrealism with a killer theme tune. Even now whenever I see a full moon on a semi-cloudy night this show pops into my mind.

@AccessTheAnimus It's sad that Stede's fate wasn't adequately explained in the game (unless you maybe had the pre-order DLC). It was as if he just vanished and turned up as an apparition later, indicating he must have died. It's a shame considering the likeable part he played in the introduction.

@TheMekon_Venus In my opinion; Judge Dredd with Stallone has the best depiction of Mega City, but an awful depiction of Dredd himself. Conversely, Dredd with Urban has an awful depiction of Mega City but the best depiction of Dredd himself. Even so, I still like them both in their own way.

When this came out.. Stallone was one of the most bankable movie stars in the world. They were never gonna make a Stallone movie with him covering his face all the time. But that’s what the character calls for… and a dark gritty tone. It’s not a terrible movie.. but it does feel they missed the point of the comics. Or are there any huge fans of this incarnation?
