Edward Norton: “The anxiety of these times is particularly intense right now. We know the world is effed up in ways that are unprecedented in our lifetimes. We live in this unbelievable onslaught of information. We see genocide being livestreamed to us. We see American citizens being killed by paramilitary people in our own streets for standing in solidarity with their neighbors. We’re seeing Epstein’s abuses titrated into us on a daily basis”

FUN FACT—helium cools the superconducting magnets in more than 14,000 MRI machines used in hospitals worldwide. We lost the largest helium extraction plant in the world in Qatar. US reserves running low. Helium cannot be produced de novo. Any helium escape is permanent.
Shanaka Anslem Perera ⚡@shanaka86

Helium is the only element that escapes Earth’s atmosphere permanently. Once released, it rises through the troposphere, passes the stratosphere, and leaves the planet. It cannot be manufactured. It cannot be synthesised at industrial scale. It accumulates over billions of years in the same geological reservoirs as natural gas. And one third of the world’s supply just went offline because Iran hit the facility that extracts it. Qatar produced roughly 63 million cubic metres of helium in 2025, accounting for 30 to 36 percent of global supply from a total of approximately 190 million cubic metres. QatarEnergy’s three large helium purification plants at Ras Laffan form the world’s biggest helium production base. When LNG production stopped after Iranian drone strikes on March 2 and the subsequent missile damage on March 19, helium extraction stopped automatically because helium is recovered during natural gas liquefaction. You cannot produce helium without producing LNG. The byproduct dies with the primary product. Spot helium prices have roughly doubled since the crisis began. Industry consultants warn that prolonged disruption could push contract prices toward $2,000 per thousand cubic feet. A major industrial gas supplier has already begun assessing customers a helium surcharge. Phil Kornbluth, the most cited helium market consultant, stated the assessment directly: the world cannot compensate for the loss of a third of its helium supply. South Korea imports 64.7 percent of its helium from Qatar. SK Hynix and Samsung operate high-volume fabs producing the DRAM and high-bandwidth memory that power every AI accelerator, every data centre GPU, and every cloud computing cluster on Earth. Helium cools silicon wafers during fabrication. It serves as a carrier gas in deposition and etching tools. It enables leak detection in vacuum systems. Modern extreme ultraviolet lithography requires helium-cooled environments for precise temperature control. Without helium, the fabrication process degrades or stops. SK Hynix and Samsung hold two to three months of helium inventory. Two to three months is not a buffer. It is a countdown. If Ras Laffan remains offline beyond that window, South Korean memory production faces rationing. TSMC in Taiwan is somewhat more diversified but still uses Qatar-linked supply chains. The entire AI hardware supply chain, from HBM3E memory stacks to advanced logic chips, sits inside helium-dependent ecosystems. Beyond semiconductors, helium cools the superconducting magnets in more than 14,000 MRI machines operating worldwide. It pressurises rocket fuel tanks and purges propulsion systems in aerospace. CERN’s Large Hadron Collider depends on helium cryogenic systems. There is no substitute for helium in any of these applications at industrial scale. The United States and Qatar together account for more than 70 percent of global production. The US federal helium reserve and private suppliers offer partial relief, but global prices and spot availability are still governed by Qatar’s market share. Japan’s Iwatani has drawn on US reserves. Canada and the Rockies are seeing renewed investor interest. None of this replaces 63 million cubic metres in weeks. The war hit uranium first. Then oil. Then nitrogen. Then water. Then plastic. Then medicine. Then sulfur. Now helium. Eight layers. Each one deeper. Each one closer to the infrastructure that sustains modern civilisation. The chip that processes your data, the magnet that scans your body, and the rocket that launches your satellite all depend on an atom that leaves the planet when you lose it. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…

Absolute insanity. A CNN panel reveals the ONLY source claiming Iran was building 11 nukes was Steve Witkoff, a real estate developer with zero intelligence background. The actual DNI testified the exact opposite. They started a war based on a developer's lie!

This exchange just happened in Congress. Senator Cohen to FBI Director Kash Patel: “The people you fired were experts on Iran, were they not?” Patel: “I don’t believe so.” Cohen: “They worked in counterintelligence, did they not?” Patel: “I’m taking you at your word.” Cohen: “You’re the director. I’m not. You should know the answer.” The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation does not know who he fired. Does not know if they were Iran experts. Does not know if they worked in counterintelligence. Is taking a senator’s word for it. This is the man running America’s domestic intelligence agency during the most severe national security crisis since 9/11. Iran has activated sleeper cells. Encrypted communications intercepted as operational triggers. A war with no exit strategy. Joe Kent resigned because the investigation was stopped. Charlie Kirk’s last words to Kent: stop us from getting into a war with Iran. And the FBI Director doesn’t know who he fired. Or what they knew. Or what America lost when they left. Never stop connecting the dots.

One dairy farm in Fresno, California has been linked to 13 recalls and 6 separate outbreaks since 2006. That farm’s owner was personally recruited by the HHS Secretary to advise the FDA on raw milk policy. Mark McAfee owns Raw Farm, the nation’s largest raw milk producer. Kennedy counts him as a personal supplier. In October 2024, Kennedy posted that the “FDA’s war on public health is about to end,” listing raw milk among the suppressed products. He then recruited McAfee to apply for an FDA advisory role on raw milk standards. Here’s what the “war” was actually doing. October 2023: Raw Farm raw milk sickened 164 people with Salmonella across four states. Twenty hospitalized. Patients ranged from under 1 year old to 87. February 2024: FDA linked Raw Farm cheddar to E. coli O157:H7. The company issued a voluntary recall, then withdrew it 10 days later. December 2024: California recalled Raw Farm raw milk twice for bird flu. Five indoor cats in one household died after drinking it. Now March 2026. Same company, same product. Seven E. coli cases. Four of the seven patients are three years old or younger. The FDA asked Raw Farm to pull their cheddar from shelves. The company refused and called the investigation “egregious and extreme harassment.” This tells you everything about what “health freedom” means in practice. The company has survived 13 recalls across five different pathogens: E. coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, and bird flu. Over 200 documented illnesses. Product still on Sprouts shelves nationwide. The owner’s proposed solution was a voluntary certification program he wrote himself. They wrapped all of this in “ending the FDA’s war on public health” because that’s the only version of this story where the farm is the victim.

This is the document I unredacted on the House floor. It confirms numerous lies by Trump, including that Trump never expelled Epstein from Mar-A-Lago - despite his repeated claims that he did. It is also proof of the DOJ’s massive cover-up because there was no basis to redact it other than to protect the President. DOJ still hasn’t disclosed 3 million pages of the Epstein Files. If they are trying to hide this, what else are they hiding? We need answers @AGPamBondi, @DAGToddBlanche

Breaking: The President's son is on a heater Donald Trump Jr's fund invested in one of the only U.S. rare earth magnet startups at a $200M valuation Three months later, the Pentagon awarded Vulcan a $620M loan and the Commerce Dept took a $50M equity stake In February, Trump announced a $12B rare earth strategic reserve Today, the company is now valued at $2 billion. That's a 10x for Trump Jr in under a year Vulcan is building the largest rare earth magnet factory outside of China. The U.S. says it needs to stop relying on China, which controls 90% of global rare earth processing The timing is either the greatest coincidence in investing history, or it isn't

Trump told you he’d run America like a business. He is. It’s called asset stripping. You sell the profitable pieces, gut the workforce, load it with debt, and walk away rich while everyone else holds the bag. USPS? For sale. The military? Subcontracted to the Saudis/Israelis. The debt? YOURS!!!
