I will say it again, the average thug can’t be reasoned with. It’s a total waste of time. Take this one for example, what do you want to tell him? He neither cares for morality or even his own sociopolitical right, which he has willingly sold for money. He strongly believes if he kiss the ring long enough, snatch enough ballot boxes, and go to war consistently for the right person, he too, can become like those men he mentioned who rose from poverty to riches by walking the path he’s now threading. He can’t be reasoned with. You can’t appear to his conscience. Politics is about self interest and he has identified his own. So why should he care for yours? The solution is for Nigerians to make it clear to people like him that their determination to make their votes count far surpass his desire to make his masters happy. That’s the only way.

Broooo! I had to calm down to watch the amount of planning and budget it took to plan and execute the security architecture being used for the APC national convention. It was planned, meticulous and calculated. There is an active response team of heavily armed security personnel stationed at every point, just for that occasion. As interesting as this sounds, access roads were blocked and a circular was released to that effect. It is interesting because in all the years this administration has spent at the helm of affairs, that level of precision and calculations have never occurred in the war torn Northern region of Nigeria. You don't understand how bad it is that there's an active Command Situation Room where everything going on within and outside that premise is being monitored in real time. To further put you in your place, the Honorable Minister of Defense and a former Chief Of Army Staff were commissioned to spearhead this architecture. I will still say that if this government values your lives, terrorism would end in 12 hours!
