@kattatawell As in what screen works? Or what can we do to make pro700 work?

Hi guys? Has anyone used a patriot with pro 700 to spot spray with drone mapping?

@NicholasGale7 Altitude of the drone is a factor in weed size. If we’re targeting small weeds then we fly lower. I’d just big stuff we go higher. We have put a lot of time into using different spectrums of light to pick up chlorophyll to make better maps too.

@AgTech_Services Have you found many misses? Or are you targeting fairly big weeds? Have heard reports that sometimes the drone may not get all weeds but my assumption was may weed size could have an impact on that 🤔

John Deere exact apply spot spraying to one of our drone generated weed maps saving 92% of chemical in this 180ha field.

@ajcrotinger No not single shot. We have an in house system for processing data.

@Plantmore1 We have it setup to do three. One over the weed and one each side to allow for nozzle pattern to overlap and give full coverage

@KwMacdon Not if you had been provided hearing protection. I supply PPE and it’s in employees contract that they are required to use it.

Have any farmers been successful at claiming the rebate for hearing aids from workplace noise damage or is it only workcover people?

We are heading to the Eyre Peninsula pH mapping early December. Get in touch if you’re interested in having some done. We will be back again early in 2025 for those that are still having a crack with harvest.
