@ProjectLiberal american political language is very inaccurate - "conservative" doesn't mean to be a weird trump worshipping conspiracy theorist. being a liberal and a conservative at the same time is not only possible, but quite normal.

What's funny about this is that our core social media team are men married to their first wives (I just celebrated my 15th anniversary!), all with kids, all working professional jobs. You can have a conservative personal lifestyle and not be an authoritarian douchebag.

The hard part is that he used to be an ultra himself and he now gets used against the candidates he endorses

That’s my analysis.

And some of that will include more centrist types as well, that’s where being realistic should matter, but even Hasan has chewed out his chat for being ‘ultras’ as he calls them, its those who are unable to view any progress through the DNC as a good thing.

And I agree with the multi prong, that's how you have a tent with Mamdani and Talarico. Right candidate for the region

@ToBeImpartial @flurbylovesyou @WhickTv I think the Dems if they play their cards right and use a multi prong approach of various tactics will secure at least 2 of the branches, if they do nothing I could even see them getting 1. Trump is so bad, it will bring people in regardless.

@ToBeImpartial @flurbylovesyou @WhickTv We just don’t think liberalism contends with the elephant in the room that is capitalism. I’d argue money in politics is anti democratic and the DNC and GOP both use their vast wealth to control the dials of progress. To me, that’s anti-democratic.

Having that power to gatekeep will come with it’s detractors. But I too understand why you view it that way.

There is some level of purity testing going both ways, but I view it as Dems saying to be let into the tent you have to support whoever wins the primaries and Hasanesque progressives it's a laundry list of issues you have to 1 to 1 align

Saying Hasan wants civil rights when some days ago he was in Cuba in one of those state sponsored hotels that hoarde all the electricity from the common population including the hospitals
