i think people who criticize uty for being more story-driven rather than focusing on ut's metanarrative side don't realize that this wouldn't work with ANY prequel fangame because canonically none of the prior fallen humans would have had access to those metanarrative elements

i think a retake of this au would require changing everything and loosely following certain traits characters have. you can’t just rewrite the story in certain areas and it’ll make sense to first time readers.
