By the time Biden took over, the Taliban were in mostly full control of the country and there were too few units left to hold Bagram. It's unpopular because it is factually inaccurate. One President undid the sacrifice of thousands. But the key fact is, allied casualties were incredibly low considering the intensity of the fighting and the size of the forces engaged. Very few forces came as close to success as the US did in AZ. As we all know, the culture of that God forsaken place lost the war. The people of Afghanistan lost. US and its Allies did not. And Biden. That corrupt dolt could and would screw up anything he touched. And he did.

The United States spends more per capita on healthcare than any country on earth, already, and still leaves forty million people uninsured. That is not a budget problem. That is a choice. A deliberate, repeated, fully conscious political choice, made by the same politicians now blaming European freeloading for American misery. Vance is doing what American politicians have done for fifty years. Finding someone else to blame for decisions made in Washington, by Americans, for American donors, in American elections.
