Around March 2023, during high school, I decided what I wanted to do with my life. I set a goal to achieve greatness—building my health, mindset, and eventually, a business. Now, at 20 years old, I’ve made significant changes. I cut ties with friends who lacked passion, stopped playing video games, and focused entirely on my projects and self-improvement. I began freelancing, creating websites for businesses. After more than a year of dedication, my first major project is about to launch: ProfitX. What started as a side hustle flipping phones for profit has evolved into a web application that helps users find profitable products to flip without spending hours searching for them. These days, I split my time between working in Germany’s building industry during the week and heading back to Hungary on weekends to work on websites and my projects. Two months ago, I had my best month yet, earning a whopping €3,750. While I’m proud of this milestone, I know I could have done more. But I also realize this is just the beginning, its only the first page of my journey. The goal remains the same: achieve greatness.

Portfolio Update #4 Slow and steady. Same setup, limit orders are still in up to 65K, waiting to get filled so I can add more. Strategy: No trading.

Portfolio Update #3 Hit new highs, peak profit was $6,600 with profit around $1,200. Limit orders are still set from 4 months ago from $93K down to $65K. Not planning to sell before $160K BTC, possibly later. DCA long-term investing remains the best and most stressfree approach.

Accumulate as much crypto as possible over the next 2-4 months, history is in the making. With ETF inflows and the Trump presidency, the stage is set. $BTC $ETH $TAO $AAVE $SOL $LINK $XRP Fuck leverage, don’t let the market shake you out. Stay in spot, and sit on your magic internet money. After regulations, I believe crypto will stabilize and exhibit stock-like volatility, with no more 5x, 10x price movement.

With October starting, I didn’t go back out to Germany. I finally started taking my portfolio seriously and landed some clients. I made just enough money to avoid touching my savings. Then a friend told me we should go to a meeting, a meeting with a high networth guy with big connections. The news was better than anything I expected. I thought he just wanted a webshop from me, but no. He wanted my friend and me to run his webshop. He provides the products, we handle everything else, and we split the money. Right after that, I instantly decided to stay home so I could launch the webshop ASAP. So I stayed in Hungary for two more weeks… then another two more. Then came another meeting, this time with the wholesaler company. The owner showed up, plus his people. The meeting was really exciting. They told us they’re in 80 countries and explained how they operate. Everything looked perfect. The wholesale prices were great, they liked our webshop and idea. Everything lined up. During the meeting, we agreed to meet again at their storage facility to finalize how orders would be handled and wrap up the remaining details. That meeting is supposed to be in two days. But yesterday, the news hit. Everything might be over. The guy who connected us is in serious financial trouble and might be facing bigger issues soon. So this whole project might only have weeks or months left. Bam! Straight to the face again. Everything collapses. We lose the contact, we lose the whole business. My thoughts right now: why does this keep happening? Everything is in place, and in seconds it falls apart. I’ve lost count of how many projects ended like this. Everything’s about to work out, and then out of nowhere it all dies. The plan now is to somehow keep the wholesaler connection. They saw our webshop. They liked it. They liked the plan. Honestly, the guy who introduced us wouldn’t have added much more anyway, so in terms of the collaboration itself, nothing really changes. The problem is: they’re a massive company, and we have no idea how we’re supposed to reach them directly. The only idea is to build a connection during the storage facility visit. Otherwise… it’s back to zero. But looking at the bigger picture, even if this falls apart, again, there were still good things in it. I finally stepped out of a 13–16 hour job with no fixed payday. I came home and finished my iOS app. I earned maybe 40% of my German salary from my couch in less than a week. I finally started taking boxing seriously and showed up consistently. Either way, I’ll keep working on my projects and keep promoting my portfolio.

So, one thing I figured out recently was that I just couldn’t save any of my money. I was earning the same as before, maybe even more, but my net worth wasn’t growing from month to month. I didn’t really change my lifestyle that much, maybe I ate out a bit more or went on a few more hangouts, but nothing major that should’ve made such a difference. I kept thinking about it for a while, and then it finally hit me: previously, when I got my salary, I instantly deposited 60–70% to an exchange and bought BTC. That way, I could only spend what was left. I couldn’t overspend what I didn’t have access to. So I went back to that system. I liquidated everything and decided to only keep what I can actually spend. It’s the only thing that works. Every time I tried setting a spending limit before, I’d just end up going over it and saying, “Oops, well, that didn’t go as planned,” and move on because I could. Now, since I don’t even give myself the option, I can finally save again. Sure, it feels a bit like living paycheck to paycheck and hoping I can make extra if I run out, but it’s worth it. It makes me appreciate what I have a lot more.

Only me and my boss are left in the industry now. I don’t see that as bad — work will be harder, but at least it forces us to push more and try something different. We’ve got 4–5 big things lined up again. Last time they all collapsed, but this time has to be different. Even if just one works out, it would make a huge difference. Financially, this year is tough. I can’t even describe how bad it looks — I’m basically at the same point as last December, and the cash I’m still waiting on is about the same amount too. If I actually got the money that’s owed to me, my net worth would literally double. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I’m a bit lost, but still following the path I believe is best. On the personal side, I’ve started a serious relationship. The hardest part is only seeing her every two weeks — and sometimes even that doesn’t work out. I’m hoping it will work, and I’m trying to figure out how to spend more time at home. For that, at least one of the projects needs to come through. As for work and money: I’ve been in Germany for around 14 months now. That should mean about €35k in salary, but right now I’ve got €13k available and another €8k still pending. Around 40% is gone to living costs, vacations, and other stuff. I could (and should) spend less, but it’s tough. I still need to build a system that lets me cut costs while keeping life manageable. And that’s only if I even get the pending money — which, honestly, I don’t think will happen this year. Work stays, trust the process.

Halfway through the year and not much has happened yet. Still haven’t gotten the money back from the failed project. I did buy my Mac though, so I can finally start building the mobile app and get going with marketing. Just came back from Egypt, we had a one-week vacation with the boys. For the next 4 days, I’m working at an F1 event. Met a slightly weird but interesting guy who’s into engineering. Got a lot of answers to questions I’d been wondering about. The path’s a bit blurry, but I’m just trusting the process and doing what I can to keep moving forward. NetWorth isn’t anywhere near its all-time high, and I’m a bit behind where I should be. But taking a vacation young with the boys is probably not something I’ll regret later.

Today my brother asked to borrow one of my books — and honestly, that really surprised me. He was never the type to be into this kind of stuff. But it got me thinking… he’s genuinely changing for the better. I know saving money has always been tough for him, so we started a simple system: every month, we both set aside the same amount on the same day. That way, it’s fair and clear 50/50. We don’t touch that money, only from time to time we move it around to get better returns. Recently, he even told me he started a smaller savings account of his own. It’s amazing to see him taking charge — saving, learning about finance and self-development, hitting the gym every day, and putting in work to grow his restaurant. I’m proud of him.

@AgentTON Could it be because you were over excited with your new results? I once posted a content on Tiktok because I was frantically watching the raw clip over and over again, I deleted it after a few seconds but posted it again with the correct caption😂

After launching my first web app, I started promoting it — but nothing really happened at first. Then, I posted it in my local subreddit r/programmingHungary, and it finally got noticed! I received 20+ reviews and was so excited that I started answering questions right away. But then — boom — I accidentally deleted my post.🤦🏽‍♂️ About 30 minutes after I saw it starting to blow up, I ended up blowing it up myself. Now I feel like a real dumbass. Lesson learned.

For a while, I struggled to sit down and work on my own stuff. I wasn’t sure why. I’d rather meet up with friends or do whatever than actually focus and work. The biggest question became: how do I balance my friends and my projects? And damn—what if I had a serious partner too? The answer I came to is: there is no balance. That’s the real sacrifice. You have to choose what matters more—going out for another “funday” or building something meaningful. The freedom I get from not having a girlfriend means I can go work in Germany, be okay with not going home for three weeks, and just visit for a weekend. So yeah, there’s no balance. It’s either this or that.

I just launched my very first web app! It’s an AI-powered finance tool that helps you keep track of your spending, investments, and net worth — all in one place. I also added an XP system to make managing money feel a bit more fun and competitive. Still a work in progress, but I’m excited to finally share it. 👉NetWorth.hu
