@Agnoi21 @XDProtag I don't think so. I don't think ash winning against leon was plot armor but he did need 100,000 volts and gmax Pikachu to win. Against garchomp he didn't have gmax and 100,000 would ineffective. Pikachu would be significantly weaker. Lucario was a better choice against her.

@ABEYLikesToPrty @XDProtag I don't think that would've matter. The pokemon anime does at times don't follow the type match up. Ash gmax form would've work since he would still have access to 2 non electric type moves. I don't think k ash would've mega evolved his lucario if pikachu was around.

@Agnoi21 @XDProtag Yeah but gastrodon is weaker in comparison to garchomp, especially in mega form. Part of the reason ash was strong against leon was because Pikachu had access its z move. In the battle with Cynthia he didn't have access to dynamax and 100,000 volts is ineffective against garchomp
