My first fighting game tournament was on this!
It was a time trial challenge to get to it, and I was one of the 8 fastest in the UK who got the invite!😀
And not a lot of people know about this! I appeared in the Sega Saturn magazine at the time though too 😁

Definitely want to hear this as.. honestly the Gems in Yomi 2 are very interesting but also a confusing extra complexity layer for someone who's only had a few hours to scratch the surface of the game - almost wished I could 'turn them off' tbh as a beginner a few times now!

Cinematic supers 😆 - I guess I can live with a lot easier overall; but it really "depends" really how frequent and disruptive they are. But at worst would still be a 'minor niggle' for me at best in the grand scheme of FG mechanics!

@Agoners I'm right there with you, and don't even get me started on cinematic supers. Besides taking too long in my eyes, it also shifts the camera and makes it harder to keep up with oki and spacing after (at least for me). I appreciate that depth, but I prefer simplicity when possible.

Most hated mechanic though; and the reason I don't like MOST fighting games - any long combos. Anything that isn't quick and done in about 3 button presses I really dislike.
(Dishonourable mention to any ubiquitous option select mechanics; usually stuff like throw-tech)
