Reiterei minha solidariedade ao governo e ao povo bolivianos e ressaltei a importância do pleno respeito às instituições democráticas e ao Estado de Direito. Defendi que governo e movimentos sociais evitem o recurso à violência e privilegiem o diálogo como caminho para a superação das divergências e para a preservação da paz social. A pedido do presidente Rodrigo Paz, determinei envio de ajuda humanitária à Bolívia.
