Anyone happen to have #Agragps or solsteer gps bridge for @Fendt_NA 1050 g2 with Fendt one cab. We are a dealer but customer asked anout used and we don’t have any used systems. Thanks

@LowBoomLowDrift @T_Bartman Was only ever available on the 60 foot machine. I believe there was an after market company doing something similar but I never researched it much.

3.34 gpa is exactly 1 tank for a 640 acre section with a 2140 gallon Horsch 8460 tank.

@LowBoomLowDrift @T_Bartman Going back to old air spray. Have you ever seen the old esp on the spray coupe. Had a few guys in vegetables using them. Would charge the spray soultion so it would seem ground. You could run your hand under boom and droplets would be on top and bottom of your hand.

@LowBoomLowDrift @T_Bartman Droplet size and the wind sheer and down force push it in to the crop. I am not the expert but testing we did years ago showed equal to or better coverage on paper and in actual crop. I sell ground rigs but I never say any thing bad about a plane.

@LowBoomLowDrift @T_Bartman A drone in the other hand doesn’t perform like a full size plane. Wind sheer rotor turbulence droplet size etc. There is a reason helicopter application still keep forward movement when applying. I would like to listen to reps from the ground plane and drone and learn more

Best planter down force system?

20 months since this shed blew down that was insured by @Wawanesa with a builders risk policy in place and still no payment. Anyone else run into similar issues with wawanesa?

@BantrySeedFarms Lemken karat is shank with disc level. Can change opener in 20 minutes. Also world good for prepping spud ground. Selling a few in mb.

Looking for best idea for doing field work with one pass in the spring. Has to level and be a nice seed bed. I been looking at the salford series but want some more input #Agtwitter

@LowBoomLowDrift @BDuchek We see it with pull type salford with bigger capacity can’t keep up with Terragtor. Depending on conditions. If it’s super muddy the pull type may have an edge then but on numerous demos in normal conditions. The terra gator does more per hour. I think pull type has a place.

@AgwestBrett @BDuchek A 160 foot 3300 tank pulltype will outspray a 120 foot 1600 tank self propelled without doubt. No matter what brand.

First 12 TD in Alberta is sold. 160 ft boom and 3330 gallon tank. It’s at the red deer farm show if you want to check it out.

@LowBoomLowDrift @BDuchek I still think self propelled will do more acres in a day. Head land turns backing into corners. You don’t feel You have any more boom whip on a pull type ? Also most tractors are limited between 15.5 and 18mph. A lot of high clearance machines are spraying faster than that.

@BDuchek @AgwestBrett Depends on your conditions like always. But you run it the same speed as the self propelled with the same boom size. The boom control on our pulltype and self propelled is identical.

@LowBoomLowDrift @BDuchek Be very similar. You would also have depreciation on pull type it self. I don’t think you could spray as much in the same time frame with a pull type as self propelled. Also have to get a plane or high clearance for fungicide. I think in liquid fert could work well.

@AgwestBrett @BDuchek What costs you more per hour to trade off for 400 hours on a 1 year flip. A 937 fendt rogator or a 933 fendt vario ?

@BDuchek @LowBoomLowDrift My thought is what will depreciate at a higher rate a self propelled or the tractor and pull type combo. That I would say is an unknown at this time in the market. Purchase price is a small part of total cost of ownership.

@LowBoomLowDrift I'm thinking it's close to the price of a 1000hr high clearance sprayer. Would be nice for burning off ahead of the seeder but would be better off with another self propelled on our farm I think.

Have for sale Horsch maestro 36 row 20” spacing planter with corn, soybean and canola meters and also two Capello 18R20 chopping corn heads. All units were new in 2017 and always shedded other than when in use. (Headers are MY2015) DM for more details. Retweets appreciated
