It’s been a busy start to the week for our @PlanBNavigators. Aready it has seen them support 3 young men get keys for their own accommodation. This added to other on-going support which has led to further access to education, training and employment. Plus a mention in this 👇🏻.

Watching our Navigator Darron on camera today talking to one of our young men about all of the different ways he has been helped, and how his life has changed since having support from @PlanBNavigators. Once again totally reinforces how much this work is vital and necessary. 👏🏻👏🏻

So good to hear the news of the first job success as a result of our new online Covid-19 response, started in May. So proud of our learners who despite barrier after barrier, continue to knuckle down and turn their lives around. Employers, we need your jobs. Get in touch. 👏🏻👏🏻

This week 5 more individuals have signed up to receive support from @PlanBNavigators . Some vital pieces of work already taking place including access to financial, housing and employment related support services. Great work from 2 of our Navigators Darron & Matt.

Another week, another cohort of remote learners on Forging Ahead. Believing for employment to follow quickly for these chaps. Hearing that some of our former learners who had originally been on temporary contracts have just been made permanent. Result!!!

Had the best phone call earlier today from a guy who completed Forging Ahead and went straight into employment over a year ago. Still working for same company, about to get a mortgage and overjoyed that his Mum says she is proud after years in and out of prison. What it’s about.

Today saw the launch of the first Forging Ahead on-line cohort. Just brilliant to see learners, facilitators, Police and probation together in one place, overcoming barriers and empowering people to break the grip of their pasts and look toward employment and a new future!
