The gospels are clearly altered, we know some of those alterations and there might be some we have no idea of. Also they are written by men as their original authors not Jesus and divine revelation.

@AhmadBassem20 @MercifulMessage The copies we hold in our hands are a close match to the oldest manuscripts and we could reconstruct almost the entire bible from quotations in the first few centuries alone. Where exactly is your evidence of alteration given these facts?

@HeroAbility @MercifulMessage The gospels themselves have been clearly altered many many times after being written originally so they wouldn't be sahih or strong themselves. So how is it logical to use the gospels as a source to prove themselves?

@AhmadBassem20 @MercifulMessage I just gave you a chain of known individuals going all the way back and attesting to the gospels themselves. If the resurrection were evaluated using isnad science like the hadith it would be strong and sahih.

@HeroAbility @MercifulMessage Yeah that's how Arabic script was written at the time. It's not for the purposes of modern day use for recitation or otherwise, it's for Arabs from 1500 years ago. They could read and recite it using the consonantal framework of the text.

@AhmadBassem20 @MercifulMessage We have the first generations of Christians and their writings are extant or quoted. Plus we have hostile attestation to early Christian beliefs (Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, Suetonius, Lucian of Samosata, Celsus, Thallus, the Talmud, Josephus, etc.)

It was sent in the year 7 AH (628 CE) after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah to Heraclius (Hercules), the Emperor of the Byzantine (Roman) Empire. بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ إِلَى هِرَقْلَ عَظِيْمِ الرُّوْمِ سَلَامٌ عَلَى مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَى أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنِّيْ أَدْعُوْكَ بِدَعْوَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ أَسْلِمْ تَسْلَمْ يُؤْتِكَ اللّٰهُ أَجْرَكَ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ إِثْمَ الْأَرِيْسِيِّيْنَ وَيَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَنْ لَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا اللّٰهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهٖ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُوْلُوْا اشْهَدُوْا بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُوْنَ English Translation: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. From Muhammad, the slave of Allah and His Messenger, to Heraclius, the great leader of the Romans. Peace be upon him who follows the right path. I invite you to the call of Islam. If you accept Islam, you will be safe and Allah will give you a double reward. But if you turn away, then upon you will be the sin of the Arisiyyin (your people). O People of the Scripture! Come to a word that is common between us and you: that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. But if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are Muslims.
