My current Dean, now a Doctor (Dr. Mrs.), once shared her story with us. She was first employed at this same school as a cleaner, with only an SS3 certificate.
After some time, she enrolled in a part-time program. She completed it, went on to earn her PGD, then her Master’s degree, and eventually her PhD. Today, she serves as the Dean in the very institution where she once worked as a cleaner.
Her journey is always a reminder that beginnings do not define endings. Growth is a decision, and progress is a process.
There is no fixed timeline to greatness, it starts in the mind and is sustained by consistency, courage, and self-belief.
When you are truly ready and willing to put in the work, opportunities align, and doors begin to open.
Your current position is not your final destination.

Testimony time in church today felt like something out of a movie. A woman stepped forward to share her story, and the entire church went quiet. She had no secondary school education at all. Life didn’t give her that opportunity early on, and for years, it seemed like that was where her academic journey would end. But God had other plans. At 30, she made a bold decision to go back to school and write her GCE. It wasn’t easy, imagine sitting in class with much younger people, facing the doubts, the pressure, and even the embarrassment but she stayed determined. Year after year, she kept going. She was writing her final year exams at UniJos at a time when her own daughter was already doing NYSC. And today, she stood in church as a doctorate degree holder. She smiled and said boldly, “Address me DR MRS E ABAYOMI now.” From no secondary school education… to GCE at 30… to graduating while her daughter was doing her NYSC… and now a Doctor of Philosophy. The church erupted in praise, because her story is a powerful reminder that delay is not denial and it’s never too late to start again.

The idea behind X rewarding original content is solid, no doubt.
But here’s the real question especially for smaller creators: Has X actually built the system to push that original content on its own?
Because if your post still needs big accounts to like, repost, or notice it before it gets any real visibility… then nothing has really changed.
If smaller accounts are still struggling to be seen, what’s the motivation to keep creating original content? That’s the real issue.
