@Takes_on_Twins I think yes. He will never be a slugger but has shown there is some real playable power in his swing.
Even beyond that, I’m so impressed with the approach. Patience and spin recognition is great. So comfortable and in control out there.

@AidanOBrienMN Do you think, considering the valuations on him to start the year, that he has significantly raised the ceiling for what we might expect offensively? It seems that he is doing his very best to shake that reputation for being a defensive first SS.

Riley Quick was throwing strikes and looked good in the first 2 innings outside of a solo homer.
Looks like blister issues have popped up again in the 3rd with the trainer coming out for a mound visit. A couple walks and another homer now have spoiled his day.

Abreu struggled early but has returned to his normal self over the last couple months.
Trading Larnach opens room for Jenkins and gives them more speed and defense even if they lose some production at the plate.

The production has been modest for Walker Jenkins since he returned from injury at the end of June.
Still, the contact numbers are elite. Raw power and swing decisions are there. Not producing at an elite level but he is absolutely ready whever the Twins decide to make the call.
