1/ Update on Carrot Even though we are still waiting on Drift for the official next steps from them, we are now ~90% liquid for the remaining TVL and will soon (hopefully tomorrow) open up CRT redemption.

@Dimadimadu @MukidiWf @CryptoCurb @DriftProtocol I was not directly involved with drift, had no direct funds in there but held CRT which was on Drift. CRT lost 100% of their funds on Drift, TVL dropped 50%, my portfolio is now worth 50% less 💁‍♂️

@MukidiWf @Aidreon @CryptoCurb @DriftProtocol I would think that the guy either talks unclearly or has no idea what he’s talking about. His lost funds were maybe in form of open trades and he doesn’t realise that the funds he sees are not actual frozen funds.

has @DriftProtocol apologized to their users yet and/or provided a plan for how they plan to recoup their customers lost funds? yes- the hack was very sophisticated. no- that’s still not an excuse to sign transactions/download apps on the same device that drift admin keys are located on. no- that’s still not an excuse to have only 2/5 multisig approval + 0 timelock. I was very fortunate to not have any funds on drift/drift partners, but $250M+ in user funds were lost and so far all I’ve seen is a pity party for the drift team.
