The River Wild is one of my personal favorite Meryl Streep films, even though I acknowledge it might not be more most popular or her most critically acclaimed. This is vintange ‘90s filmmaking that’s far from perfect but super damn entertaining. Meryl’s career is insanely deep.

The OA (2016) was cut off just as it was getting truly daring. A series that treated belief and mystery as form, not gimmick. Still thinking about that Season 1 finale all these years later.
