🛡️This account stands in honor of Indra and the eternal spirit of Kshatra.

When the Hunas invaded, they were accompanied by a group known as “Gurjaras” who were probably picked up from near Balochistan or perhaps further. When Hun power fizzled out, the Gurjaras took power and their elites became modern Rajasthan (and most Punjab) Rajputs.

Caste is old -- really old. It was emphatically not the creation of the English colonists, but something that emerged thousands of years ago. The high castes, who oppressed and exploited the low castes, are not originally from India -- they came down from the steppes.

A 12th century sculpture of four-armed standing Maa Chamunda from the Paramara dynasty. She holds a sword , damaru, trishula and kapala in her right hand & shield, khatvariya and a kamandalu in the left one. It is currently on display at the National Museum, New Delhi.

@Aindradeva You are right ofc that infantry remained majority. But that infantry carried longshield bearers in front with massed composite bowmen at the back, along with buckler wielding light infantry

@ASingh0819 @Aindradeva Not you the other guy.Gupta army was revolutionary in a way that they were the only native empire to mass use horse archers. The raghuvamsa, the surviving iconography all prove this. The other part was its infantry was majorly equipped with composite bows, not bamboo longbows.

According to the Kumbhalgarh inscription, Rana Kshetra Singh(1364-82 CE) defeated and captured Zafar Khan, the Tughlaq governor of Gujarat, and also defeated Dilawar Khan Ghori of Malwa near Chittor.

When the Rajputs had their first major encounter with the Turks in 1191, infantry constituted 80% of the Rajput army. Following this, they introduced military reforms that prioritized heavy cavalry. These reforms proved successful during the reigns of Rana Hammir and Rana Lakha, enabling them to repeatedly defeat the Tughlaqs. By the time of Rana Kumbha, the entire army had transitioned into a heavy cavalry force.

If stupid traditions are not removed, they become part of culture. Culture is not made in one day, Saree is angavastra, even blouses are not required, were not even there In Vedic Era breasts were covered with a piece of cloth which used to be tied on back at max All this keeping pallu on head and covering half of face started with Mughal invaders How is putting cloth on head determinant of respect ! We moved from first to second real quick like idiots.. Pathetic!

Delhi. Dr Manish Gupta, a dermatologist killed his 50 year old maid with a bat & knife. Immediately after this, it was said that he suspected her of practising black magic on his family. Everyone was depressed in family & peace was gone. Manish was found sitting near the body & a pool of blood on his terrace when neighbours called the police. Police initially suspected it is a job done by more people so they questioned 20 year old son but later established that the doctor acted alone. The doctor is claiming insanity now. Typical plan to evade serious punishment. Already things in media that he was depressed, had OCD etc. This particular doctor is dermatologist. That brach is taken by high scorers in medical exam. He can make a plan to save himself & his family. He might be having some money too. Maid is the victim but almost all news sites are not even talking about her & projecting this doctor as some kind of victim by his mental health. I wonder why. I hope she gets justice. If this was really a murder due to black magic, I don’t know what to say about this superstitious society. Don’t encourage any type of superstitious. Malignant or benign.
