I fully understand Rahm’s decision to balk at FIFA’s demands to make Chicago a host city for the world cup. You cant buy nice things when you’re broke. Nevermind 223 billion in debt like the state of Illinois is. BUT, it still sucks seeing and knowing these Argentinian and Swiss fans are watching this game, getting their “Midwest America experience” in Kansas fucking city

@KnicksMemes Besides the tax reasons it basically would have made it impossible to trade for anyone while they are over the apron (can’t use trade exceptions, draft picks can’t be used, salary can’t be aggregated). If you stay over it multiple seasons shit gets worse.
