Why did no one appreciate & write about how PM Modi got Abhinandan back. We don't want to respect our own people while wanting to glorify US for a costly rescue. Abhinandan came back with no loss of aircraft, unlike US yesterday

Executive Summary: Russia has established the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) as an independent military branch, institutionalizing drone warfare after lessons from Ukraine, reflecting a doctrinal shift toward drones as a central component of modern combined-arms operations. The USF features a centralized command structure overseeing development, procurement, training, and deployment, with integrated units across all command levels and a dedicated acquisition system managed jointly with the Ministry of Defense’s research directorate. Moscow plans to recruit nearly 79,000 personnel by 2026, drawing heavily from students, veterans, and technically skilled civilians, while expanding university training pipelines and specialized academies to sustain long-term drone force development. A four-phase roadmap for the USF envisions a massive expansion to roughly 210,000 personnel and nearly 1,000 units, embedding drone capabilities across ground, air, and naval forces, despite funding gaps and organizational challenges. Russia’s buildup parallels Ukraine’s earlier institutionalization of its drone force and signals an enduring transformation, with drones accounting for most battlefield fire missions and reshaping operational doctrine, particularly along the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO’s) northern and northeastern strategic fronts. open.substack.com/pub/jamestown/…

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Remnants of a U.S. MH-6 Little Bird helicopter were spotted alongside a C-130 that was blown up by U.S special forces in Iran during their rescue of a second F-15 pilot. The MH-6, nicknamed the Killer Egg, is almost exclusively operated by the U.S. Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), known as the "Night Stalkers." It's used for high-risk special operations missions, favored for rapid insertion and extraction of small teams of special operators. Source: Clash Report

HONOR OVER ORDERS: A Stand That Shook the Chain of Command In a moment that could redefine military leadership, General Randy George chose principle over pressure. The Army Chief of Staff reportedly stepped down after refusing to authorize a ground invasion in Iran—an operation he believed would cost thousands of American lives. Rather than follow orders he saw as catastrophic, George drew a line few would dare to cross. His stance has ignited a national debate: is this the highest form of patriotism, or a dangerous break from military discipline? Supporters call it courage—putting soldiers’ lives above politics. Critics warn it challenges the very structure of command. As Washington grapples with the fallout, one thing is clear: this decision has left a lasting mark. Was this an act of integrity that saved lives—or a precedent that risks undermining authority?

Airbus A400M is deemed too costly and oversized for IAF needs, narrowing India’s medium transport aircraft competition to Embraer C-390 and Lockheed Martin C-130J, better suited and cost-effective options. #IAF #DefenceNews #MilitaryAviation #C390 #C130J
