I made a mould today at @hacmanchester to press heated acrylic into shape. The acrylic heating tool works really fast to get the plastic bendy. Some tweaking to do yet though to make the press work better.

Cheeeeers to @Airtripper for sorting out a Raspberry Pi workstation! Featuring a microscope for SMD embiggening and other goodies such as a Hantec oscilloscope and Arduino support. Very cromulent 👍
Another busy day at @hacmanchester hanging the RGB LED light fittings I made on the hacspace CNC router. The LED display will add a bit of colour to the new electronics area. Now I’m looking forward to seeing LED animation ideas created by other members for this new display.
Check out our ✨new✨and upgraded electronics bench. The best bit, this isn't even finished yet. With loads of new shelving, equipment and consumables, you can get soldering at Hackspace Manchester. Thank you to the member who put this together 😍
@orionrobots I said XT but it was XH I meant sorry. I would go with PH for the one on the left going off the case style I can see. The plugs and sockets between different style types are unique enough to identify them from the datasheets.

Day 1 of our big build weekend and despite not having plasterboard due to a let down we will still build the rest of what needs doing and add the walls next week #bigbuildweekend
This is an experimental PCB panel currently in production. These are DC motor shims for robots I'm building at @hacmanchester . It will be awesome if these PCBs are delivered looking the same as the 3D preview.😁
After finding a cheap barrel on the Facebook Marketplace, I was able to build a dust separator for the Woody Dusty woodworking space at @hacmanchester. During some testing, I was able to catch even the fine dust which will go a long way to saving on vacuum filters.
Hackspace Member and parent @pdcal made this awesome slidy board to keep track of the morning routing of "two moderately sized children" - very cool! 👍
