Are you gonna be mind blown that there’s different rates for commercial use or something next? You’re mad at the concept of business terms

Little reminder that when you get a commission you're not buying the copyright of that piece.
So no, you can't do whatever you want with it
Of course most of artist are flexible and allow a lot of stuff
But that does not mean you are the intellectual owner of that piece.

Anyone who accepts commissions from @aslana987 just be aware I DID NOT give him permission to use my character Jake. I dunno if he's using any other characters of mine, but Jake (the green guy) is definitely not his character to use. Do not take his money.

"Do you have furry artists that inspire you?"
I've got a few, but one in particular I'd love to point out was probably my first and biggest inspiration, Airu and specifically her character Jake. I remember, like, 16-17yrs ago catching one of her streams when she was first designing this character's ref sheet and being like "oh my god, what a cool concept" and it just like TOTALLY rewiring my artistic brain.
As a southerner he was the first time I'd ever seen someone design a southern character that wasn't just the same caricature-esque "redneck" stereotypes, he had a lot of personality to him and actually felt like someone I'd know IRL. Totally started fanboying over her way back when I was still a fledgling artist. The inspirations used to be, admittedly, a LOT more on the nose than they are now, but her stuff was one of the first times where I saw furry art and felt like there was real, believable personality in it.
Her stuff's always been a big influence on me stylistically, with expressions and colors and whatnot. Check out her stuff on here / bsky (@/airukitsu) or FA (@/airu or @/volvo) and read her comic. It's fantastic.
