@otisframpton It was industry knowledge that a number of Disney animators had been working with Pixar and training on their animation tools. Once I understood what was happening I was one of the few voices in class saying Toy Story was going to blow anything we’d seen out of the water.

I’ll admit… this is impressive.
Old school creative folks need to come to terms with the fact that AI imagery, animation, video, music, etc won’t always look imperfect.
It’s in its infancy. It’s just clearing its throat.

Update:
I finally escaped from the hospital yesterday after 8 days in the neurosurgery wing of the U of M hospital (18 pounds lighter than when I went in)!
But I’m not out out of the woods yet. I’m still on antibiotics so I don’t get Space Madness, so they made me a little bit Six-Million Dollar Man-ish with a fancy IV that I have to use at home.
I can’t wait to start working again. But focusing on things like iPad screens has been difficult. So I feel like I’ve been on a desert island since my surgery on August 25th.

Update: Hey, all… Otis here! I’m still in hospital, dealing with a leaky brain (true story). I think I only have a few more days left to stay in this place and then I’ll be headed home (but not quite out of the woods 🤷♂️). Hopefully I’ll be back in action soon. 👍

@otisframpton I personally enjoy the movie. I get my immediate wasn’t there a top rated movie ever, but I enjoyed it.
That said, it’s unfortunate we may not be able to move forward with this particular villain, or at least this actor.
