VIDEO | Jabalpur Bargi Dam cruise boat tragedy: Sangeeta Kori, a tourist from Delhi, recounted the tragic accident, stating that sudden strong winds caused water to enter the vessel, leading to panic and its eventual capsizing.
She says, “No one was made to wear life jackets beforehand. When water started entering, they hurriedly distributed them, which caused chaos and people started snatching them. Then the cruise capsized. There was a lot of negligence. The pilot of the boat wasn’t listening at all. People from the village were shouting and signaling him to bring the cruise to a safer side, but he kept going the same way, which caused it to overturn suddenly. My brother broke open the storeroom and quickly threw life jackets to people.”

UP Horror: Couple ambushed in park, woman raped in front of fiance In UP's Fatehpur, a woman spending private time with her fiancé in a garden was ambused by a man identified as Lalit who began recording video. He alerted his two accomplices - Bablu and Yuvaraj and the trio later allegedly raped her. The couple was turned away by the local police when they tried registering an FIR against the suspects. FIR was registered after the intervention of senior cops in the district. Two suspects have been arrested while third - Bablu - is still absconding.

@GreaterNoidaW Faulty design of metro station n metro lines, hardly any crowd in nearby sec 75 stations. Sec 52 serves ppl from Greater Noida west n sec 78, 75 etc. Metro station is crowded to brim. Lack of overbridge frm GNW side forces ppl to risk their lives n cross road to reach metro 52!

A deeply horrifying incident has been reported from Gautam Nagar in the Etmadpur police station area of Agra district. According to the victim’s mother who is from Dalit community, Parvez had been harassing her daughter continuously for the past one year. He used to eve tease her on the way and pressure her into marriage. Despite repeated refusals and objections, he did not stop his actions. On Tuesday (April 28), the accused came to their house with his mother and proposed marriage, which the Dalit family clearly rejected. Later, around 9:30 PM, he forcibly entered the house again. At that time, only the daughters were present at home. The accused pressured the elder daughter for marriage, and when she refused, he grabbed her and began dragging her. The younger sister tried to intervene, but the accused overpowered her and forcibly dragged the young woman out of her home. It clearly shows that the state and police are failing to protect Dalit women. No civilized society should stay silent on such incidents. But in a casteist society, people simply don’t care and carry on as if nothing happened.

@JioCare SR00002KSQVK, Jio engineer was to visit today bet 12 to 1 pm. Still waiting for visit. Engineer Sushant called at 11 to tell he wd visit in half hour. On follow up call, Sushant told he wd be late n rudely told he wd listen to his supervisor. Jio customers need to wait endlessly
