Got laid off from my job(fully remote) of 4 years last year February Worked a bullshit job for a year just to pay the bills and took a hell of a pay cut. Shit was over a hour away. Applied to hundred of jobs. Finally Started my new role today making 6 figures.

This is why, when I chose to become a husband and a father, I chose a life of service. I’m here to serve my family, fully, not halfway. I don’t believe in the 50–50 mindset. I show up where I’m needed. I do the house chores, I’m present in childcare, whatever needs to be done, I do it. It takes me one hours to tear down our four-bedroom home from top to bottom and leave it spotless in an hour, and I take pride in that. For me, it’s not about keeping score. It’s about commitment. It’s about partnership. I understand not everyone thinks this way, but this is how I see life we serve each other, we support each other, and we pick up where the other leaves off. That’s the kind of life I chose.

In the end it’s either you were not trained well or you refused training. Lesson from all of this is to ensure the kids from 5-16 years old are trained properly else 10-20 years from now we will still be where we are today.

This was exactly what we did in my first marriage with my ex. Every thing was shared 50-50 including once weekly cleaners fee.
