ADC has been a ticking bomb right from the onset, the leaders are there for their personal interest and not that of Nigeria's. Obi shouldn't have joined ADC in the first place.

@oxygist I believe Regina Daniel has said consistently that both her parents weren't in agreement of the marriage. If you won't completely listen to her explaining then you should focus on your life's.

“Regina Daniels should hold her parents accountable; they sold her off to Ned Nwoko for money and fame. Until she faces that truth, she’ll never heal. Her mom used her as a money-making tool, and now everything is falling apart”- Lady (Merino Justice for Ned Uche Montana At 17)

Tinubu and Soludo just scripted the most shameless electoral robbery Nigeria has ever seen; all to silence the growing coalition. YPP 35,000, LP 10,000? Who are we fooling? This wasn’t democracy; it was daylight insanity.

@YemieFash If the leaders had taken this seriously, we wouldn't be in a situation where the US would want to intervene. The government should sit up, Nigerians have accepted nonsense for a longtime, we must end this disgrace and hold our leaders accountable.

You must either be delusional or completely ignorant to believe that America will come and fix what Nigeria should fix for herself. History has shown, time and again, that US interventions in other countries rarely end well for the people involved. This issue isn’t about Muslims or Christians, north or south, it’s about us as one nation facing a shared problem. We must wake up to the reality that no foreign power will save us. Our strength lies in unity, in refusing to let ethnicity, religion, or politics divide us while terrorists and bandits destroy lives and communities. It’s our collective responsibility to rise, organize, and confront this menace head-on. Let’s also be realistic, homegrown terrorism has never been completely wiped out anywhere in the world. What nations do is contain it, manage it, and minimize its impact through strategy, intelligence, and collective effort. Nigeria can do the same.

@YemieFash Believe me if I tell you that the policemen there are involved, when the barricade was there, they have a standby forcanizer who helps d truck drivers lessen their tyres after settling the police & pump after managing to pass through... these are wot we see there on a daily basis

Regarding the tragic Akungba accident, it’s painful to realize that this could have been completely avoided. The community and the school had earlier agreed to mount a barricade on that road to stop heavy-duty vehicles from using it, given the steep slope and the history of deadly accidents in that area. Sadly, some members of the community decided to turn that barricade into an illegal toll gate, collecting money from truck drivers and allowing them to pass through. Because of the greed and irresponsibility of a few idiots, many innocent lives have now been lost. It’s a heartbreaking reminder that our biggest problem in Nigeria isn’t always the government or the system, it’s often Nigerians themselves. Until we change our mindset and start valuing human life over money, tragedies like this will keep repeating. Truly disheartening.

@PeterObi As okay as this write up is, the tweet should also address illegal structuring of buildings across the country.

Stop the Destruction of People’s Property I like to reiterate my strong condemnation of the willful destruction of people's property, and goods by governments at any level without notice. The recent demolition of citizens' structures and the destruction of their goods and merchandise remains condemnable. An administration whose policies and style have sent several million Nigerians into poverty in 29 months should show compassion for its citizens. This is happening across the country at a time when the government is supposed to be lifting citizens out of poverty. Instead, it is plunging them deeper into hardship. These demolitions destroy livelihoods, undermine businesses, and threaten the economic security of hardworking citizens. Many of these shops contained goods worth billions of Naira, representing years of investment and toil. What legal authority justifies the destruction of private property—clearly not used for criminal purposes—without prior notice or due process? We must ask: are these actions genuinely in the public interest, or are they arbitrary and disproportionate exercises of power? Citizens deserve protection for their investments, livelihoods, and dignity. The government must ensure that urban development and enforcement respect the rule of law and the rights of the people. Meanwhile, these acts of demolition send a chilling message to entrepreneurs across the nation and beyond: that their hard work and sacrifices can be wiped away overnight. If we fail to stand against such injustices, we risk undermining the very foundations of economic growth and social stability. Every citizen has the right to build a life through honest work, and that right must never be trampled. -PO

Wow! Several friends have forwarded this to me. I don’t normally like portraits of myself ( I don’t believe I am that important to warrant portraits) but I do want to salute @BamaiyiDanladi for his great talent and creativity. People know I love African , especially Nigerian, art and artists. So much talent and creativity in our country and on the continent!!
