For the last three years Messi has been playing the equivalent of English non-league football at Inter Miami. He hasn't played with world class players for over three years. As we stand in 2026, Jude Bellingham is a stronger, more skillful player. Kane isn't far behind. Bayern have worked wonders on him. There is every chance we can pull this off tonight - but don't get sucked into the "Messi the football God" garbage. He's an ageing player no longer playing competitive football. Argentina will be dirty and have the refs in their pocket, and England need to be mindful of that. Let's GO!
