This reminds me of a random statement my cousin made when I was in my second year at university. We were at her shop, and she said, “Joan, there are no jobs for you. You will finish university and come back to me crying for jobs”. I made it a point never to call her or even ask for any help when I finished school. I completed my final semester on June 14th and started working on 1st July. I spent my entire final year at university hunting for jobs, well knowing that I had nowhere to go. To anyone reading this, there’s still hope. Just leave your comfort zone, and the rest will be history.
