Trust me, I am doing this with my heart beating hard. Having created content actively for ten years across several social media platforms I am here to start building on X. My name is AKANINYENE, I am a fine Akwaibom man who is six feet above the the ground. People call me AKOB. For four years, I have committed myself to helping individuals and brands show up online, build their brand and make profits through my social media management, ads mgt, marketing and content writing services. As a Christian who loves healthy entertainment, I have committed myself to writing Christian fiction and have sold thousands of copies across Africa. One of my books Another Kind Of Boy gave me the name AKOB. I'd be sharing content on: - SMM - My mastering digital marketing - Content Creation - Storytelling (fiction and nonfictions) - Things happening around me. - The startup I am building - My Faith - And beans! I'd love to connect with you and follow accounts that have got valuable stuff. Let's grow together and have fun while at it.

A pregnant woman sniffed me today 🥹🥹🥹 She waddled over like a little penguin and goes "can I smell you?" and I had no idea what to do. So I was like, sure. She took this LOUD sniff and looked so happy. Then she goes "are you in a hurry? Can I smell you for a little longer?" I said maybe I can just spritz you with my perfume? So I sprayed some on her sleeve, she smells it and almost starts crying, like "no, that's not it." Then I sprayed her husband — he wasn't thrilled about smelling like women's perfume, but I told him it's unisex, and THAT was the match. And the little penguin just latched onto the husband and kept sniffing him 😄 Being pregnant is so wild. That perfume you recommended… it literally stopped a stranger in her tracks. By olivia

I've told you before, if you want justice for Ochanya, open an account and fund it, get a lawyer, and bring a fresh case against the accused. The court already ruled on it and found the evidence insufficient. We have to get a good lawyer to prepare a proper case. Litigation cost money. Tweeting #JusticeForOchanya is not enough. You only remember to tweet it when you see Winifred. Feel free to drag her if you want, but that is not how justice will come. When you're done, we can discuss the next step forward. I said this last time, nobody answered. Maybe I'm the one mistaken that you want justice in the courtroom. If you want it outside the courtroom, that is fine too.

Some relationships don’t fit into neat labels, but they end up being the most enduring. What Val Kilmer and Cher had feels like a reminder that love isn’t always about staying together, it’s about showing up consistently, especially when it matters most. That kind of bond is rare.

A 22-year-old unknown actor walked into a birthday party in 1982 and caught the eye of one of the most famous women on the planet and what happened next lasted over four decades, long past the romance and all the way to the very end of his life. His name was Val Kilmer. He was lanky, funny, and almost completely unknown. Cher was 36, a global superstar, and the host of the party her friend was throwing for her. A mutual friend had arranged the introduction, telling Cher that she thought either she or a friend of hers would like this young actor. They started laughing together immediately. They became friends first. They spent a week just talking before they kissed. When they finally did, Cher later said she thought her head would shoot right off her body. The romance that followed was intense, joyful, and full of private jokes only they understood. The 14-year age gap raised eyebrows in Hollywood. They did not care. They gave each other nicknames he was Sid, she was Ethel — so that they could call to each other in public without being overheard. They also called themselves Valus Maximus and Cherus Reprimandus, which tells you everything about how they operated. Cher later said he was like nobody she had ever known. Exasperating and hysterical. Thrilling and funny. A person who simply did not do what anyone else did. They parted in 1984. Val called it off. Years later, Cher told Howard Stern that Val Kilmer was the only ex of hers who had ever broken up with her. She said she was madly in love with him and he left. She never forgot it. But the friendship never left. Thirty years after their romance ended, Val Kilmer was fighting throat cancer. He had first noticed something wrong in 2014. By 2015 the full reality of it had arrived — the hospitalization, the tracheotomy, the chemotherapy, the permanent damage to the voice that had once commanded every room he walked into. He moved into Cher's guest house. One night, he woke up vomiting blood. He wrote later that it covered the bed like a scene from a film. He prayed. He called 911. Then he alerted his hostess. Cher stepped in and stepped up. She was there for every hard day that followed. He wrote about her in his 2020 memoir. He called her the funniest woman he ever met. He said that once Cher worked her way inside your head and heart, she never left. He said their spirits had stayed united even when their paths diverged. In his final years, when speaking required effort and every public appearance was an act of courage, he knew there was one person who would still pick up the phone no matter where she was or what she was doing. Val Kilmer died on April 1, 2025. He was 65 years old. The cause was pneumonia. His daughter, Mercedes, confirmed it to the press. Cher posted her tribute that same week. She called him brave. Funny. Brilliant. A great friend and a pain in the neck. She signed it with his nickname. Valus. Not Val. Not Mr. Kilmer. Valus. The name she had given him back in 1982 when they were young and electric and absolutely sure that the best thing in any room was each other. Some loves don't become marriages. Some loves become something more permanent than that — a person who shows up with no conditions attached, who sits beside you in the dark and doesn't flinch, who still uses your old nickname when everyone else has moved on. Val Kilmer and Cher gave that to each other for over forty years. Share this with someone who has loved someone that way.

I actually pray for my patients When the prognosis is bad, I pray their hearts to hope When it's end stage and terminal, I pray our conversations lead to light I have a group of Christian doctors where we deliberately meet to pray for patients especially bad cases Few months ago, we had a terrible case the best of hands didn't know the way forward and the patient had given up, ready to pull the plug. Following that rounds, I took some time in the call room to really pray for him so the Holy Spirit instructed I visit, so I stayed back after work in order to visit in the night That night I came into the ward, had some good gist that consentingly led to conversations around faith, hope and the person of Jesus and we basically held a full blown service. Right that night, it just appeared a new burst of hope and direction for everyone. Earlier this week, I saw him from a distance walk out of the outpatient department with his two legs and my heart was merry! I may not be able to go to church every time because of work but I understand that I am God's workmanship created for good works in the health sector and for me? I was called!

Don't be discouraged. Don't give up on learning any skill, simply because "AI is taking over". AI is a tool that fast tracks your processes. It still needs an expert to cross-check and ascertain its output. Your real world expertise is just as important. So learn that skill. Build a personal brand that speaks for you in rooms you can't access. Humans are still needed in the work force.
Technical Ben@TechnicalBben

Lmao Hiring just got tougher. AI will ruin everything, please work on your brand and positioning & Networking. HR now text talents directly, I have gotten a lot of emails from different start ups in the US this month, Real people will still stand out now. What a time to be alive. 🤣

5. Build relationships, not just skills. 80% of all my jobs I got from referrals. In Nigeria, who knows you matters as much as what you know. Start intentionally: Connect with seniors already earning Engage people in your field on LinkedIn/X Attend free events, trainings, fellowships Send messages like: “Hi, I’m learning ___ and I admire what you do. Any advice for someone starting?” One connection can change your entire direction.

When I was serving in Anambra I realized that there were lots of graduates who did not have a headstart. They did not know what to do after NYSC. All they had was the N77,000 and hoped that after this place they either get retained or start job hunting. No skill. No plan. Nothing! I honestly was really shocked. I thought it was common knowledge that from your 300 level you should start planning your exit. But one day I had to talk to myself. I was being selfish and talking from privilege. So many people did not know any better. For some, school was so overwhelming that a win for them was getting out. There are also people who bought the lie that theres one job waiting for you somewhere. Or that there was a door that would automatically open when they approach. But it's not always so. As it is in Nigeria, you need to create opportunities for yourself. Here are five things I would tell any student in the higher institution, especially if you're in your final year or approaching finals. See this thread below

4. Learn how to sell (this is your unfair advantage) Even if your skill is average, if you can sell, you will eat. Start practicing: Talking to business owners Sending simple pitches Asking: “How can I help you get more customers?” Don’t overcomplicate it. Simple offer example: “I can help you post consistently and attract customers for 2 weeks. Let’s try it.”
