For me the thing that makes Olise superior to Yamal is his decision making. Both of them get double and triple marked, but the difference is Olise knows what the best move is, when to attack, when to pass, whilst Yamal 90% of the time takes his man on. Difference in experience

I don’t think we necessarily need to chase experience from our LW signing, especially given whoever comes in will, in all likelihood, be backing up Raphinha. On the contrary, I’d argue it’s the perfect dynamic to go developmental - largely because any signing coming in would have the luxury of time and the subsequent pros of familiarity. They’d be able to understand the environment, get comfortable, then work their way into the XI; gradual, excatly how a developmental signing should be. For me, Godts fits the description to a tee.
