Just took a $USO trade playing over the weekend/possibly beyond $USO 4/17 STO 110P @ 6.51 $USO 4/17 BTO 115C @ 14.21 $USO 4/17 STO 145C @ 4.69 Selling 110P to fund a 115/145C spread, all expiring on 4/17. Net debit on this trade was 3.01 per spread with a max gain on the debit spread side of 30.00 or 10x potential. See below options flows for the last week alone, very aggressive today especially

My trading has just been off lately, I’ve significantly dialed back on the quantity/size I’m currently trading until I get back into my groove.
I personally struggle with market shifts and we’re seeing one right now, I also suck at going short because admittedly I’m a permabull which isn’t bad when stocks go up 90% of the time but this is a rare moment where markets slump and I just have to sit on my hands and do little to nothing until we’re back in the clear.
so the plan for me right now is to de-risk on the naked call side, I have basically zero naked call exposure right now with the exception of some things I put on earlier in the year that I’m holding till expiry.
Most of my exposure is on selling puts & earning the premiums while the options prices are jacked higher, that’s my plan for now and that also ends up being a slower pace/less trading than my typical style
I don’t plan on turning outright bullish until $SPY & $QQQ reclaim their key moving averages

Freeing up some margin, unfortunately taking a loss on the $NVDA call side @ 9.20. This call side has been aggravating me for some time and we just lost the 200D on $NVDA & $SPY so I don’t mind letting it go here until we get confirmation of a reversal.
Will continue to hold the STO put side, there was an error in my original post these were actually 9/18 160p not 150, these are barely down and I don’t mind being a buyer there as that would probably be around the 100 Week by September with it currently sloping up still, and the credit of 12.75 puts my basis below 148 which is a great price for the long term imo

Lol what a wild chart on $LITE, these 680p were 120 points in the money at one point, now 80 points OTM and looking like they’ll expire worthless for +100% gain ✅

Sold to open $LITE 3/20 680p @ 58 High risk trade just trying to take advantage of some of this volatility premiums. I have no problem rolling these out if we keep selling
