Theists say that their God created the universe without a process.
Wait a minute, how can I, a mere mortal, understand the word "create" without assuming a process? How?
@AkpCharles@thoughts17181@obande_sam64974@cessadelove1 And you say “truth exists” because you live in your own bubble, pointing fingers and claiming that anyone in a different bubble is living a lie, doomed to burn forever…all while spreading the same violent rhetoric you condemn? No wonder it all comes off as laughable.
That “only difference” is actually huge it
enough to create two entirely different religions, making the God Christians worship fundamentally different from the one in Judaism.
The same goes for Jewish prophecies…they don’t align with Christian interpretations. Just because one religion (Christianity) emerges later and claims that its predecessor predicted it, doesn’t make it true…just as Islam appeared centuries later and reinterpreted both previous theologies.
@AkpCharles@Thuso1Africa He takes the money, you take the lies
This is religion and Jesus Christ
This is religion, cheaply priced
This is bibles full of libel
This is sin in eternal hymn
This is what they've done
This is your religion
The apostles were eleven
Now there's a sod in Heaven
@Confetti4real@thoughts17181@obande_sam64974@cessadelove1 Jews and Christians appeal to the same only different dividing line is Christ except for messianic Jews. For Muslims; their Allah commands a different form of worship and practices. Mohammad doesn’t align with the earlier prophet nor prophecies, neither is he found in Bible.
@AkpCharles@thoughts17181@obande_sam64974@cessadelove1 Of course they don’t. The Christian God ≠ the Muslim God.
But that’s not the argument here. The point is that
Christians have a "God" not gods
Muslims have a "God" not gods
Jews have their "God" not gods
And all these Gods are fundamentally different
@Confetti4real@thoughts17181@obande_sam64974@cessadelove1 You’re the one that doesn’t understand here. It’s not in the word but in their theology. They don’t mean the same thing. Arab Christians wont subscribe to Quranic theology of Allah. E.g they believe in trinity as against Muslims who hold so fast to tawhid(oneness of God).
@Confetti4real@obande_sam64974@cessadelove1 Good 👍 so you can’t ask which when you’re referring to God. You’d ask which among the multiple gods…not with God. The claims are different.
@AkpCharles@obande_sam64974@cessadelove1 gods’ refers to polytheistic belief systems with multiple deities. ‘God’ refers to monotheistic traditions that believe in one deity…that’s in Islam, Judaism, and Christianity
