@baanaadi This Hoysala-era revival font expresses vowel length (ಏ, ಈ) within the letterform itself, rather than using separate deergha marks. MahaapraaNas are indicated through subtle shape differences (e.g., ಭ slightly open, ಧ closed). Staying true to the era is important to this revival.

@AksharaType My observation is that the font fails to differentiate hraswaswara and deerghaswara esp. w.r.t. words containing ಏ & ಈ swaras and also fails to represent mahaapraaNas. Is this by design

@AksharaType ಹೊಸ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಕ್ಷರ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ, ಹೊಸತಾಗಿದೆ. ತಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಮಿಳು, ಮಲೆಯಾಳಂ at the same time, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತದ ಓಂ ಅನ್ನೂ ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆವಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾ ? ಅಥವಾ, ಈ ಶೈಲಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಂದರೆ ನಡುಗನ್ನಡ, ಹಳೆಗನ್ನಡ ಕಾಲಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗಿದೆಯಾ ? ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ.

The Kannada words “ಔಷಧಿ” and “ಔಷಧಿಗಳು” are rendered incorrectly in this Jan Aushadhi post. This is an official Government communication incorrect Kannada word is unacceptable. Please fix the Unicode/font rendering and re-upload with proper Kannada word. Respect the language.
