Carved my cylinder into an imperfect drinking glass, and it's ready for is first kiln. Spent the next hour in pottery class attempting to throw a micro pot, I failed. My instructor gifted me one of his. This weeks flowers look great in this micro pot :)

So, it turns out I just co-presented at my first academic conference earlier today. RECE2025 was surreal in ways I can't describe. Hopefully, soon, there will be a published paper to read from cassie, and I 🥰

I've been very happy at work off late finishing up this theatre curtain project. So many things are chaotic right now. It's been lovely to have some moments of creative joy.

@Akshaya_Space @BOMgirltweets I learned a lot from the reccos about the west coast from Karnataka through Kerala. Ended up picking a place I heard of through a friend, a small homestay south of Honnavar, Karnataka. So excited and just hope I can find the place!

@BOMgirltweets Short winter break trip, so no base...sadly. I like it better when I can settle into a place. Will pass through Delhi, Bombay, Mangalore, and most excitingly a small coastal Karnataka town for a holiday.

Chaotic week at work, but I've enjoyed picking this little loom up over the weekend. Will I regret revisiting this weaving while watching bad tv instead of tackling my mountain of work? Hell yeah. Is this exactly what i needed, though? Also, hell yeah.
