@ryan_pasumbal @Azsharion127968 Easier maybe, but they would still need to hire voice actors to record hundreds of lines, write new jokes and emotes, design new heritage armor and mount, etc. It's not always about programming but other costs as well. This is one of the reasons why I'm unsure if they'll add it

@Al_3anz @Azsharion127968 An unprecented thing. Adding them as a seperate race is much easier than inventing workarounds just to customize void elf racial tag

People keep saying ‘just make your Void Elf look like a High Elf.’ Cool, so why does the game still treat you like a void-corrupted outsider and throw insults at you? 🤔 Yeah… that’s why playable Alliance High Elves is still a discussion. 🙄😉

@Azsharion127968 I still can't get over the fact that humans and draenei share more hairstyles with blood elves than void elves do even though they're the exact same race and everything I really hope Blizzard is cooking up something good. Maybe even after the new queldanas raid

@Al_3anz I really think customization options should be shared across races, or at the very least hairstyles and tattoos.

@Azsharion127968 Definitely. I hope those upcoming demon hunter customizations are just the start. Now if only my other alliance elves could get those green eyes and my horde demon hunter get the void elf blindfold... 👀

@Azsharion127968 Fr. I see the pros and cons to both approaches so as long as I get what I want in some way, I'm happy The one worry I have about a high elf race is that they'll give them worse hair than the blood elves. Void elves have traumatized me lol

@Al_3anz That’s a fair point, and I’d take that over nothing. But ideally I’d still want a proper High Elf Allied Race. At the very least though, letting us switch the tag and identity would make it feel a lot more authentic. Customizing the Racial would be great too.

@Al_3anz Well my biggest hope honestly is exactly that! The highvale looks, the Dalaran/regal look, and then also the touch of human influence since we know they have intermingled!

I saw this on Reddit with people speculating! I doubt that this is a hint for High Elves but Blizzard… this would be SOOO iconic if it was! To show the High Vale High Elves become more nature attuned and taking to the skies being trained by their Wildhammer allies! 😭💙😭💙

@arcanistsaphras criminal we've had void elves for literally 8 years and they're featured pretty prominently in wow's lore since then and there's just literally 0 customization what I never understood why they couldn't even give them blood elf hairstyles, how hard could it be to port it

I have to say, Void Elves have won me over through Midnight's story. It's just so damn disappointing how lacking they are in the customization department; they're so bland and uninspired compared to what they could be. This customization revamp can't come soon enough.
