Hello, 2026. New year. New stories. New films. Ecstatic for the 6th chapter of this decade and what will be written on the pages.

Both films ending with the same reverberating question— “Is any of this worth it?”

Both “Marty Supreme” and “Eddington” take place during America in a cultural shifting moment. Both explore echoes and answers to what protecting greatness leads to— the relationships, emotional, and social wreckage one carries into the pursuit.

So many thoughts, but there's something profound about the two most anxiety drenched films of the year, "Marty Supreme" and "Eddington" both being shot by Darius Khondji. Both films act as prismatic reflections on American individualism and the cost it reaps to the soul.

How everyone in the theater was feeling the entire runtime of Marty Supreme.

Apple has two alternate/deleted scenes (scenes from other parts of Marks life) my director commentary which is me speaking to an imaginary person in the room, so it’s essentially a two hour conversation with an imaginary person being the viewer. Oh yes, and there’s also the 16 mm camera test that I made and acted in before shooting the movie. I’m so excited for people to see the movie! This photo is when I took when we finalized all of the prosthetics for Dwayne. He looked at me and there he was… I saw Mark and I had to take a photo of it so here is that photo!
