Somewhere along the journey, I decided that 365 would be the perfect number to pause. And so, The A. Ahram Daily will sign off — for now. This experience has taught me a lot: about discipline, creativity, resilience, and the unexpected power of small, daily actions.

One year ago, I made a simple but public commitment: to post daily on LinkedIn and X — sharing reflections, ideas, thoughts, or just small observations. Today, I celebrate the goal of 365 consecutive days of showing up, writing, connecting, and learning.

Today, I believe the balance comes from: Marking the wins, no matter how small. Reflecting to learn, not just to move on. Leading by example, showing that “done” matters as much as “doing.” Staying curious, because every finish line is a new starting point.

Balancing Doing and Done! I have learned that true progress isn’t just about what we’re doing — it’s also about recognizing what we’ve done.

But is it really the right motivator? When the desire for “more” overshadows purpose, values, or the wellbeing of others, we risk losing sight of what truly matters. Greed might deliver short-term wins, but it rarely builds trust, fulfillment, or sustainable success.
