@OBAiTQ They don’t have to feel what you feel, but they do however have to understand very well what you feel, why you feel it and following implications.

I understand your skepticism, however your reasoning isn't concrete. Doctors don't need to feel what you're feeling to treat you. If you follow that logic to it's logical concusion, it would mean that oncologists can't treat cancer patients because they don't have cancer.
